Bay Hawks to Join the Winter Series

This winter the Tampa Bay Hawks are excited to offer teams that will participate in the 2024 Winter Series right here in Florida.  The Winter Series is a 3 part event that has pool games on two Sundays and a Series Championship on the final Sunday. 

The Bay Hawks will have teams at the 12U and 14U age groups and will compete in the North Division with teams from Tampa, Sarasota, Orlando and potentially as far north as Jacksonville. 

Each team will have up to 6 training opportunities to coincide with the three event dates.  Players are required to be actively participating in their area’s rec programs to be part of these teams as this program is designed to enhance the spring lacrosse experience and not to detract from the valuable area lacrosse growth that is provided by our rec partners. 

The Bay Hawks Winter Series 12U and 14U Teams will all work under the Direction of Bay Hawk Director Chris Burdick and will be coached by Newsome Head Coach Ryan McAleavey, Admiral Farragut Head Coach Joe Caputo and Bloomingdale Head Coach Brad Garcia.  

The Fee for the Series teams is $350.  This includes the events and training.  The Bay Hawks will use the Fall/Summer uniforms so there is no additional purchase necessary for current Bay Hawks players. 

Current Bay Hawks players have the first option to register for the teams.  If spots remain available, we will open the spots to the public.
